President Bollinger and Columbia�s Faculty Cabal

University of Columbia President Bollinger certainly blundered by giving an internationally televised soapbox to Iran’s President Ahmadinejad during the latter’s fractious visit to New York for the recent U.N. General Assembly meetings, but the fact of the matter is, the Iranian President had been invited to speak by Columbia’s School of International Public Affairs, not by Bollinger himself. more...

Whilst I enjoyed your article, I would advise you to please be more cautious of your citations in future. Mr Daioleslam is known to have ties to Iran's exiled Mujahedeen movement and is probably not the most objective Iranian political analyst or human rights advocate to say the least. Furthermore your reference to Hossein Alikhani as a mere former felon omits certain basic facts; if the case is as you quote then Human Rights departmenrs in Universities in th US would not have independently taken up his case of imprisonment for violating US sanctions as a violation of human rights. I would urge you to check your facts more carefully next time.
