Today in the "Religion of Peace�"

On this day, July 27^th, in 1990, the Islamic terrorist group Jamaat al Muslimeen staged a coup d'ètat against the government of Trinidad and Tobago.

Again showing the universal nature of the jihad, even these tiny Caribbean islands are subject to Islamic terrorism.

The majority of the population of Trinidad and Tobago are Hindu and Catholic, but there is a small minority of Muslims. 100 of these Muslims took over the Parliament building and kidnapped the prime minister and cabinet members as hostages. After six days, the terrorists negotiated an amnesty agreement for themselves, and were released by authorities. Approximately 40 people were killed during the coup, and property damage was in the millions of dollars.

After successfully walking away from this terror attack, 4 members of Jamaat al Muslimeen attempted to blow up John F. Kennedy airport in NYC in 2007. They have not yet been given amnesty for that attack.
