Asghar says, "But sharia is only for the Muslims. It can be imposed on non-Muslims only after they have been converted to Islam."

With all due respect, this is incorrect.  In Islam, "Allah" gives rules to Muslims to follow.  Obviously, non-Muslims will not follow these rules, since they are not Muslim.  In this sense, sharia IS only for Muslims. However, Allah also gives Muslims many rules and regulations regarding how to treat non-Muslims.  This is also "sharia" law.  Dhimmitude is sharia law. Jizya is sharia law.  

Islam aims for a worldwide umma,  for dar al Islam.  Islam wants the whole world to live under sharia law-- Muslim and non-Muslim alike.  This doesn't mean that non-Muslims will be permitted to live peacefully nor worship freely, etc., nor even live in many cases.  But, they are expected to follow the mandates of Allah since Islam is supremacist and expansionist and is meant for everyone at all times everywhere.

It seems to me that there is only one answer to the Fort Hood tragedy..and in light of the many Islamic teachings that put Muslim soldiers in direct  conflict with the Armed Forces, that answer should be that there be NO MUSLIMS allowed into Government or military positions..The Facts are that Muslims cannot acknowledge the laws of the land as it is Kuffar Law and Allah forbids a muslim to submit his will, loyalty and way of life to non muslim (infidel) rule. Instead muslims are instructed to be subversive and to lie in wait for a chance to kill the non believer, who by his very act of non believing ,has made himself "the enemy"..In Muslim countries only muslims serve in the miltary, non muslim minorities are not allowed...I think we should apply their same rules to them in the Western societies..Only NON muslims should be allowed to serve in the military and government....Islam is a military, political and religious system , of which its ideaology is in direct conflict with the fundamental human rights and moral standards of the rest of the civilized  world.. Thw West prides itself on religious tolerance, but when a "religion"  has also a political and military AGENDA enshrined in its writingsas in Quran, then that tolerance must give way to self preservation of all we value and hold dear...I think Sir Winston Churchill who was a GREAT military leader, had Islam summed up well.. It would behove those in the military to read his views..
