Rare Color Footage of Israel, 1946-49

This is absolutely amazing COLOR footage of Israel right before and right after independence. It was recently discovered in a private home in Boston.

I lived in Jerusalem from 1939 to 1958. This is an amazing find. Brought back memories and tears to my eyes.

Just missing the videos of the 725.000 palestinians who were expelled or had to flee from their homes. Just missing that little detail in the happy music-dance party.

Umm, do I have to remind you that if the Arab side hadn't rejected partition and started a war with the open intent of ethnic cleansing or worse, those Palestinians would never have had to leave?
