Constructive engagement again - fasting to understand how Muslims feel. So expect to hear of Muslims giving up meat - or Jihad - for Lent. Thanks to Esmerelda for this from the dhimmi BBC, which no doubt approves:

Muslims across West Yorkshire and the world are marking the most important month in the Islamic calendar - Ramadan.

But one non-Muslim from Bradford is taking part in the holy month in a bid to gain a better understanding of how her fellow Muslims [sic] friends are feeling.

How can the friends be "fellow Muslims" when she isn't one?

Eilish Bromley works with the youth service in Bradford. She's not Muslim but will begin fasting this year.

She explains her reasons behind it.

She says: "I've got a lot friends who are Asian and they're fasting so I want to respect their religion and fast.

During this month, Muslims refrain from drinking, eating and other activities from dawn until sunset.

Fasting is intended to teach Muslims the virtues of patience, humility and spirituality, and is carried out as an offering to God.

Participants rise in the darkness to eat a pre-dawn meal called "suhur".

They must stop eating and drinking before the dawn call to prayer, and must not break their fast until the fourth call to prayer at dusk.

Muslims are expected to start observing the fasting ritual once they reach puberty, as long as they are healthy.

Eilish says: "I'm also trying to have a small understanding of what's going on around the world, people who are suffering in poverty, and I hope this will also help me gain more understanding about myself."

Perhaps she can make poverty history. A small understanding will go a long way.

I can save her the effort. I already know how she will feel. She will feel hungry.

"[...] I hope this will also help me gain more understanding about myself."

You are an insufferable, ignorant, dozy bint,  lacking in self-awareness and with no sense of the ridiculous .

This week's Dozy Bint is a "youth worker" in Bradford, which is one of many  formerly pleasant towns of northern England that are now blighted  and made unsafe for the indigenes and  non-muslim immigrantsby thousands of unemployable, parasitical, malevolent and violent muslims.

Perhaps Ms Bromley could organise several hundreds of these work-shy atavistic  youths to abandon their day dreams about killing filthy kafirs  and the black flag flying over Downwing Street , and set off  in huge (Turk and Saudi funded) flotillas - to reach those parts the Pakistani Army cannot reach - to help the suffering millions of  muslim flood victims  in the land of their ancestral heritage whose "right to exist" has never been questioned since its foundation in 1947?

(Nope.  Didn't think so.)

Gee, has she never heard of Lent?

If she had even a minimal religious grounding in the UK's Christian tradition, she'd be in a position to inform her "fellow" Muslims friends about the tradition of Lent and Mardi Gras, etc.

That way, you appropriate the topic and instead of fasting being used to promote Islam, it instead becomes a lead-in to promoting Christianity.

But hey! She's probably a transgressive progressive, and so that's just not on.

One other thing, 12 hours of food deprivation framed by two sessions of eat-like-a-pig binge eating ISN'T fasting.

It's a form of dietary retardation, a twice-daily Mardi-Gras that often leads to weight-gain.

She's only a dozy bint for the moment , because when Ramadan is over she'll be fat one, as well.

No need to stop there.  The Iranian woman sentenced to be stoned to death for adultery is still awaiting her sentence.  There is still time for Eilish Bromley to show respect for her friends' religion by catching a flight to Tehran, and take part in their religiously-justified punishment in a bid to gain a better understanding of how her fellow Muslim friends are feeling.

One wonders if this gal ever chose to participate in Lent, in order to respect her friends religion?

The dumbing down of the education system and Leftwing indoctrination is on full display with this moron.
