Eric Allen Bell's Fox News Interview on Islam in Mufreesboro Bookmark and Share

Michael Moore, the religious affairs writers at The Huffington Post and the Middle Tennesseans for Religious Freedom  are 'shocked, shocked' that California documentarian Eric Allen Bell  has become a turncoat to liberal views on Islam and Mosque expansion in America. Bell had been their champion. He was an item during the first Murfreesboro hearing with his attack videos of plaintiffs and opponents of the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro. He was a valued defender of the freedom of worship of Muslims and rights to build the mosque with minimal interference from local zoning approval laws. He got to know Islamic Center of Murfreesboro Imam Osama Bahloul and many of the ICM board members, as well as local Muslim families.  What the local Muslim Brotherhood leaders didn’t reckon with was that Bell would delve into Qur’anic doctrine and suddenly realize that Muslim weren’t the problem, but Islam was. He came to the inevitable conclusion that hatred and rejection of Western values and veneration of the violent exemplar, the Prophet Mohammed, made Islam a dangerous religion with its core totalitarian doctrine. Bell now opposes the real purpose of the Islam Center of Murfreesboro for what it is, a center for da'wa - the call to Islam and furtherance of the grand Jihad in the American heartland.

Bell has done a turnabout, aided in large measure by support from the David Horowitz Freedom Center and articles on the Murfreesboro mosque in its publication, Front Page Magazine. Bell is back in Murfreesboro this July to do some more investigations into what lies behind the bread crumb trail funding the ICM and other mosques in Middle Tennessee. Some of these investigations may finally identify where the Muslim community derives funding for its activities and where it is applied. It might just trip up the rampant Muslim Brotherhood influence campaign in the Volunteer State and expose it for it is.

This morning, Bell appeared on Fox and Friends in a brief in a telling interview, about his “mistake about the mosque in Murfreesboro” and his delving into Islam. Consider this Bell’s mea culpa and emergence as a member of the Counter-Jihad media movement. He appears to be catching a wave of national attention with this Fox and Friends interview. Doubtless, today’s Rutherford County Chancery Court ruling  possibly stopping the opening of the new mosque with 12,500 square at the Veals Road site in Murfreesboro just prior to Ramadan is one of those exquisite coincidences.

Watch this Fox and Friends interview with Bell.

The small wonders that every so often happen and bring a needed postive are surely, always welcome. Strange though true, sometimes a liberal dolt mounts his or her high horse, and charges off to champion another liberal illusion only to find him or her self falling off their donkey on the road to Damascus. I for one am glad Eric Allen Bell had his epiphany and subsequent conversion from liberal illusion to non-liberal truth of objective reality.

Islam is the scourge of planet earth, if this were old testament, biblical times one might wonder what horrible sin commited could have caused God to punish humanity with such great wrath. But these are not old testament, biblical times. We, the non-liberal West, should and must recognize that Islam is not our fault, that we are not the evil bad guy that liberals, as part of their illusion and ideology, pretend they believe, and worse indoctrinate their fellow liberal dolts into believing. I believe it was Susan Sontag who said "the white race is the cancer of the world". Wrong Susan Sontag, Islam and liberalism is the cancer of the world.

Islam is so evil and nefarious it should be outlawed as a hate and intolerant group post haste.

I realize Eric, is in part, throwing the liberals a bone by making so manifest the differnce between Islam and the practioners of Islam, but the time has come, and the need has arisen, to address the problem of Islam without the sugar coating. It is time to tell all Islamics, leave Islam or leave my country, but you will leave one or the other.

We can no longer afford this namby pamby, beating about the bush. We must now confront, face to face, this evil of Islam. We must call a spade a spade in spite of, and with indifference to liberals, liberal illusion and of course liberal PC. If liberal dolt illusion continues to run the ball in our countries, Islam will conquer us, Islamic tyranny will usurp our liberty and in the end, we ourselves will become part of the intolrant and disrespecting insanity of Islam. This is how it works, and has worked for Islam, since the time of Mohamed.

The sooner we outlaw Islam, the better our chances for avoiding their tyranny and remaining in our liberty.

"Liberty, once lost, is lost forever". John Adams.

Liberalism is immaturity. Immaturity denies reality, and substitutes a prefered illusion in said realitys stead.

Woe will be humanity, when all are enslaved to Islamic insanity.

I understand that one of the 'triggers' for Mr Bell's waking up to what was really going on, was a chance conversation with a Coptic Christian taxi-driver.  Mr Bell, having discovered that his cabbie was from Egypt - and of an exotic variety of Christian, to boot - inquired chirpily of him what he thought of what was happening back home in Egypt.  He expected to hear enthusiasm; instead, he got the opposite.  The Copt openly expressed deep fear - he was very frightened for his extended family and friends, other Copts, still inside Egypt and unable to escape, should the Muslim Brotherhood take over.  Mr Bell was startled and curious, but was prepared to listen while the Copt explained the reasons for his (the Copt's) fear.  This got Mr Bell curious enough to make him look a bit closer at what was going down in Egypt (upon which he began to see that the Copt's fears were real; and that the Copt's gloomy predictions were being borne out)..and then to investigate some more...and some more...and some more.

At bottom, the man has the instincts of an investigative reporter.  He has found his vocation.  He's got the real story now, and it is a lot bigger and scarier and ten times more interesting (not to mention dramatic) than the story he thought he had when he was obediently carrying water for the Muslims.

I think he is going to pick, and pick, and pull at all those loose threads trailing about and he just may reel in something big.  (And by the way; all the things he did hear and see, unrealizing at the time their significance, the things he was allowed to see when the Mohammedans thought he was in their pocket, are appearing to him now in quite a different light.)

I just hope that he has had a good long talk with Robert Spencer about how one takes reasonable measures for personal safety, and is being sensible.

Because the enemy would have thought that he was a well-trained and submissive dhimmi; but now he has rebelled, and how!
