Another annoying British abbreviation or adumbration!!! (sorry 'bout breakin da house rules)  "Tuckered out" seems as incomplete as "muckety-muck" without "high" and/or "Lord". Unlike you Europeans, we Americans have earned the right to be tuckered out; what with our long work weeks and few vacation days, many now spent as stacations involving household chores or home remodeling projects or fixing their own plumbing.  The Wikipedia entry nicely confirms this and throws in some stuff via a commodius vicus or Gabby Lane about a Hayes who's a mite more memorable than any Haze.
