Al Jazeera In Scotland?

The Herald (h/t GMBDR): ARABIC news network al Jazeera is considering setting up a Scottish bureau.

The proposal for a Scottish office was made at a meeting between the network's director general Wadah Khanfar and Deputy First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon in Glasgow.

Al Jazeera is the largest news channel in the Middle East and was launched in 1996 as an Arabic news and current affairs satellite TV channel. Since then it has expanded into a network with several outlets.

Joan Hunter Dead?
Or: Returning To The Playing Fields Of "Eaten"*
Or: The Burning Desire of Robert Burns' Wee Willy
Or: Cheatin' At Eaton?

What's worse than turning "48 million Englishmen" into Scotsmen?  -Turning Scots into Muslims.  "This can mean only one thing":

They mean to win Wimbledon

Poseur disclosure:  -haven't the foggiest if there are tennis courts at Eaton.  Also, although I played tennis in my youth and garnered some laurels (though no "garland's briefer than a girl's"), I "outlived" my "name", and played with the "grace" of a Scotsman.

* Or like a dog returning to its vomit or something I saw on a tee-shirt for sale, " Eatin' Ain't Cheatin' " -which might be desirable if one to otherwise make do with a Burns unit, or if one's singed willy/unit had been in a Burns Ward/Unit.

What's worse than leaving out "has" in "one [has] to otherwise make do" or the gasp, shudder greengrocer's apostrophe in "garland's"?  -Leaving out a hat tip for the "Burns ward/unit" joke.  It is probably buried somewhere in the NER archives given that Google gives a "link pointing to" hit under "Duff and Nonsense."
