Scores of professors of Islam, religious studies and other fields have signed a petition decrying anti-Islamic statements that have been made during the
presidential campaign, largely by those seeking to promote false claims that
Sen. Barack Obama is Muslim. "Regardless of your final choice for the
voting booth on November 4, the decision should be based on the crucial issues facing the nation and the individual character of each candidate rather than spurious
hate speech that demonizes
the faith of some eight million citizens of the United States and more than a billion adherents worldwide," concludes the
Statement of Concerned Scholars about Islamophobia in the 2008 U. S. Election Campaign.
This petition is pure
taqiyya-religiously sanctioned dissimilitude, a core doctrine in Islam
. Anything to trick the hated kafirs. Andrew Bostom in an email response pointed to a
definitive article in
The American Thinker on Obama’s Muslim heritage and background that puts the lie to these assertions by the Islamophiles. Bostom noted:
Of course, when Academics quote the disputed
estimated Muslim population in the US as eight million, you know they are on very marshy grounds with the rest of their assertions.
What we have here are political Islamics and fawning academic
dhimmis, acolytes like
Juan Cole University of Michigan Professor of Middle East History, and Wahhabist
Khaleel Mohammed, Asst. Professor of Religion at San Diego State University. This petition proves that the plug has to be pulled on
Title VI of the US Higher Education Act support of
Middle East Studies, other than for language training. If I hadn't been involved in that effort beginning in 2002, including lobbying of the US Department of Education (USDOE) and Congress, I wouldn't be able to speak from experience.
Bill Hickok, former US
Undersecretary of Education and Pennsylvania Education Commissioner under former
Governor Tom Ridge, the first US Secretary of Homeland Security, deemed Middle East studies “vapid.” He was right when he made that comment to me and others at a meeting in his USDOE office in 2003. This petition by the Academic Islamophiles proves it.
This petition is a prelude to what could occur in an Obama
Presidency, given statements of his advisers and friends. A strident minority of academics in America has consistently countenanced this behavior in the name of tolerance,
political correctness, and support by an alliance of neo-Marxist dead enders and extremist allies of political Islam like
Professor John Esposito of Georgetown’s
Prince Alalweed bin Talal’s Muslim Christian Understanding Center. They have effectively positioned Obama to condone Sharia law in America, a new low in
Dhimmitude.
When you read this petition note the push back by these Islamophiles against the anti-jihadist efforts of the Obsession Watch project. 28 million DVD copies of the film Obsession have been distributed to Americans through newspaper advertising supplements. These Islamophiles have been discomforted that anyone would have the chutzpah to criticize Islam and them, because it reveals the 'emet' (the truth) of the anti-Western Jihad.
This is nothing more than the latest manifestation of the onslaught of cultural
Jihad and capitulation by our government and our tattered political system to totalitarianism at the core of Islam. No criticism of Islam is brooked. This is akin to any criticism of Obama that is immediately deemed to be 'racist'. Are they two peas in the same pod? I think so. This looming Presidential and Congressional election on November 4th could mark a watershed: the possible beginning of the end of the American Republic as we know it. Should that occur it would mark the demise of our precious liberty and freedom. Let's hope that doesn't occur. Let's stop that prospect at the polls, if we can. A daunting task in the face of overwhelming media self-censorship and bias in favor of Obama.
