I want to introduce New English Review's newest poet. His work absolutely blew me away and we are very pleased and proud to have him join our team. His first poem for us is entitled Them Bones.
Robert Bové refuses to offer early retirement to Western Civilization. When not force-feeding his students Dante, Shakespeare and Johnny Cash in colleges in lower Manhattan and Brooklyn Heights, he can be found outdoors hunting songbirds with his binoculars or watching the fastest thoroughbreds in the world race at Belmont Park. His poems and prose have appeared at scores of publications including the Wall Street Journal/Opinion Journal online, National Review online and America Magazine. His most recent book of poetry is The UFOs of October. For more, go to www.RobertBove.net.
