I was not referring to the crankshaft. I was not even referring to the finding in Hadley v. Baxendale, but to the principle it established, about foreseeability. Cancelled airline tickets,opportunity costs, and so on. The last full measure, not of devotion, as at Gettysburg, but of expectation damages.
