I have tried, but cannot find, much of a musical connection between the 1930 schlager sung by Siegfried Arno and Yiddishkeit "Tumbalalaika" sung by the Barry sisters,.save for the fact that Siegfried Arno was Jewish and so were the Barry sisters. In the same vein, I suppose there is also a connection between Felix Mendelssohn and Gene Simmons of Kiss.

OK: the connection comes at 3 degrees of separation and can be determined by any number of factors - singer, style, language, composer, writer -some totally unfathomable, or seemingly only very tenuously linked. It's youtube who decides - I just go along where I'm (mis)led - as I do in life - down highways, by-ways and dark alleys. I clicked one of the "related videos" - An Eitsele - when Sigi had finished, and after listening to that, clicked on to another yiddish song, - forgotten the title, not so good -listed in the r "related videos" of song No. 3 was Tumbalalaika. So I clicked on to that for a bit of a sing-alkong, as I know all the words. Sei ruig
