That was a swell follow up, Hugh, to Hedley Lamarr's invocation of "Let's do that voodoo that you do so well." I decided against doing something with "Brother, Can You Spare A Dhimmi BBC?" given that it would tend to unconvince.
In a like manner, I rejected the impulse to try to make a silk purse out of "Let's Put Out The Lights All Over Europe by the Viscount of Vallee" given that at the time of composition, Rudy was merely the Duke of Earl.
It's my job to know these things.
