O’Keefe Team Offered More Ballots

When a voter ID law was introduced to the Tennessee legislature, there was an immediate outcry from the left-wing papers suggesting that voters would be disenfranchised and Jim Crow would return, illustrated with pictures of elderly black women looking forlorn. James O’Keefe has shown just how easy it is to vote under someone else's name. This comes from Breitbart:

In the aftermath of James O’Keefe’s shock video showing a young white man strolling into a polling place in Washington DC and promptly being offered Attorney General Eric Holder’s ballot, the District of Columbia Board of Elections acted … by condemning O’Keefe. Board chairwoman Deborah Nichols railed:

“I have directed our attorneys to conduct a thorough investigation and refer all evidence to law enforcement authorities for appropriate action. Our polling places are open to the media and observers who want to legally document our procedures for checking in voters. There is never any justification for disrupting the voting process with fraudulent activity. We will take any and all appropriate actions to ensure the integrity of our voting process and we will vigorously seek to hold anyone and everyone accountable for interference with that process to the fullest extent permitted by law.”

Reporting and observing on the implementation of the voting process is, of course, precisely what O’Keefe and Project Veritas were doing. But that was of no consequence to the DC Board of Elections, which was more interested in “shooting the messenger,” as O’Keefe put it.

Now O’Keefe is back, defiant as ever. His new video shows Project Veritas going into poll locations in DC on April 3, being offered ballots for Ben Jealous, President & CEO of the NAACP; one Bill Maher; and David Brock (Project Veritas says they could not verify whether the David Brock for which they were offered a ballot was the same David Brock as the Media Matters president). Hilariously, Project Veritas also shows that you can’t get into Media Matters without showing ID. The video also depicts Project Veritas going to a polling place and asking about Alicia Menendez, daughter of New Jersey Senator Robert Menendez (D) and political commentator on MSNBC; a poll worker asks to see ID, preventing Project Veritas from being offered Menendez’s ballot.

The point: voter ID works in preventing voter fraud. Without it, people can obtain multiple ballots -- the Project Veritas citizen journalist who was offered Ben Jealous' ballot on April 3 was the same fellow offered Eric Holder's ballot that same day. 

And one more point: Project Veritas won’t be intimidated.
