I think that the translations into English in a couple of the reports of this attack have misled readers a bit. She's described in some of the less-detailed reports as a 'girl'.
In fact she's a woman: a young mother of four. The Arab Muslim assassin entered her house at 4.30 am toting an iron bar and a knife.
Her name is Yael Re'em-Matzpun.
Unarmed, she fought the would-be assassin off , long enough for a couple of neighbours to come to her aid.
Read a couple of the most detailed reports, here.

She's a HERO. She fought back, she defended not only herself but her four young children.
And the sheer sneaking cowardliness of the Mohammedan jackalthug is sufficiently apparent.
I don't think Yael or her children will have nightmares - because she faced up to the assassin and she beat him, and put him to rout; and then the IDF came to the rescue, and the thug is dead, dead, dead.
Still, my advice to Yael Reev-Matzpun and her husband, and to anybody else living within 20 km of Gaza: get a good guard dog, or, two, or three. One of those dogs to have the run of the house, at night. And invest in a double-barrelled shotgun ...and teach even the children how to use it.

Hello Christina,
Thanks for posting up the corrections. I realised the initial account I read via Jihad Watch wasn't completely accurate the next day, and your comment has prompted me to update a different article on my blog.
The lady in question is indeed a heroine. It could have so easily been akin to the horror of the Fogel family revisited. Anneinpt told me that she is actually a Kraf Maga martial arts expert so no wonder she got rid of the would-be killer.
