Dutch linesman killed: amateur matches cancelled as three youths charged

This English language report is from The Telegraph

Every amateur football match in Holland will be cancelled this weekend and professional players will all wear black armbands as a mark of respect for the volunteer linesman who died following a vicious assault. Three players – two 15-year-olds and a 16-year-old – are to be charged with manslaughter, assault and public violence for their alleged involvement in the attack

Nieuwenhuizen, who was 41, had volunteered to be a linesman in the game between Buitenboys and Nieuw Sloten in which his son was playing.

Investigations into the incident are still ongoing and prosecutors have released no details of a possible motive. They did say, however, that a group of Nieuw Sloten players surrounded Nieuwenhuizen after Sunday’s match, kicking and punching him.

Nieuwenhuizen initially appeared to have recovered from the assault but, after going home and later returning to watch another match at the club, he collapsed. With his family surrounding him, he later died in hospital.

Nieuw Sloten immediately banned the players involved and withdrew their team from the league. Amsterdam alderman Eric van der Burg, whose portfolio in the city covers sports, said the team from Nieuw Sloten had been in trouble twice before, once for verbally abusing a referee and once when a player got into a fight with a spectator.

None of the reports say anything about the boys other than their age. Except this one in Dutch from De Telegraaf. Marcel East the clubs chairman witnessed the attack on his friend.

Gisteravond was hij nog even aanspreekbaar in het ziekenhuis. Hij herkende me: ’Hé Marcel, alles goed?

"Last night he was still as approachable in the hospital.  He recognized me, "Hey Marcel, okay? " What a ** k football, huh, "he said."   "He talked a bit confusing, but nevertheless made a positive impression and thought he would recover again. It's the last time I did this golden football friend may speak . . . After the final whistle gave almost all players the referee a hand to thank him for the leadership.  Only the three Moroccan players of Nieuw Sloten walked to our linesman, pulled him to the ground and started on his head and neck to kick ",

It was a Moroccan who killed Theo van Gogh. Moroccans regularly threaten and beat up gay men in Amsterdam. Moroccan 'loverboys' rape Dutch girls and drag them into drug addiction and prostitution.

This made me feel physically sick.  It also angers me that due to their age we will not learn their names and they will get derisory sentences.  Can the Dutch courts order their names as English courts can in certain circumstances?
