A New Website to Honor Heroism of Lars Hedegaard

A new website  has been set  up to honor the heroism of Danish free speech "hero" Lars Haedegaard, executive editor of  Dispatch International .  We received this from a colleague Bjorn Larsen announcing the new site and how you might support his effort to protect  free speech against the literal onslaught of murderous Jihadis.   You may recall this quote from the AP  story about the  assassination attempt on his life  at his home in Denmark this week. :

Hedegaard, 70, said the gunman rang the doorbell of his apartment building on the pretext of delivering a package, and when Hedegaard opened the front door, the man pulled out a gun and fired a shot that narrowly missed the writer's head.

"The bullet flew past my right ear, after which I attacked him and punched him in the face, which made him lose the gun," Hedegaard told AP. He said the gunman then fled.

Hedegaard heads the Free Press Society in Denmark and its international offshoot, the International Free Press Society. He is also among the publishers of a [regular print newspaper (Dispatch International) that deals with many problems and issues – one of them being Islam and immigration].

Here is what Bjorn Larsen sent us.

Dear friends:

A new site – www.larshedegaard.com<http://www.larshedegaard.com> – has been set up to keep track of news on Lars’ assassination attempt and the police investigations. The site is open for comments and we are welcoming words of encouragement and support from all corners of the world. Please ask everyone to visit http://larshedegaard.info/express-your-support-here/ and express their public support.

A primary focus of the site will also be to garner support for Lars and Ingrid’s work on Dispatch International – in that regard the site is offering up for sale Honest Press Certificates, numbered and signed by Lars himself, issued directly to the buyer – please see http://larshedegaard.info/get-honest-press-certificates/. These certificates are becoming a “part of free speech history” and is a perfect vehicle for supporting one of the only newspapers in the world speaking the truth – get one now before they run out since only 1,000 has been printed.

Please distribute this as far and wide as you can.

Bjorn  Larsen
