Having followed the progress on yesterday’s Facing Jihad education conference in Jerusalem at the Begin Heritage Center with the organizers, I was pleased that efforts of M.K. Dr. Eldad came off so well. The conference had the participation of notable speakers like controversial Dutch Parliamentarian Geert Wilders, Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch, Professor John Lewis of Duke University, Sudanese Christian Freedom Fighter and former slave Simon Deng, the redoubtable Daniel Pipes of the Middle East Forum, Palestine Media Watch executive director Itamar Marcus, Dr. Davi Bukay and others.

Next up, we understand is a similar conference this week at the European Parliament in Strasbourg. The new year could see a conference at the Westminster Parliament in London with U.K. Members of the House of Lords, Commons and perhaps European Parliamentarians.

Perhaps the message is getting across in Israel, Eurabia and Londonistan that ‘we will not go quietly into the night’ in the fight against totalitarian Islam. If only, a similar educational conference to Facing Jihad could occur in the new Congress and the Ottawa Parliament, we might see some push back against the Grand Jihad in the West. Yesterday was a wake up call in Jerusalem that Israel is the literal canary in the mines of totalitarian Islam whose Jihad is aimed at the destruction of the Jewish state and our western values.

 An international conference like no other was held in Jerusalem Sunday. The conference, called Facing Jihad, organized by MK Aryeh Eldad, dealt with the current world wide threat posed by Islamic holy war, Jihad, and what can be done about it. Dutch MP Geert Wilders was also present, and the attendees watched a screening of his famous short film Fitna.

”Islam is an ideology,” Wilders told Israel National News. “It rules everything, not only from birth to death but everything in between, everything in the life. So I believe Islam should not be compared with Judaism or Christianity, but with other totalitarian ideologies like communism or fascism. This what we are dealing with.”

Wilders added: “Your fight against Jihad is our fight against Jihad. It’s not a territorial conflict. It’s an ideological conflict.”
