Nora Batty is no more, but the batty will always be with us. Lawrence Auster:
Looking at the role of women in contemporary Western public life, the Muslims have grounds to despise us and to think we're washed up.
Well then, let's keep them out of public life, as they do in Saudi Arabia. No more acres and declivities on show, not even a well-turned ankle. Family values come first, after all.
Wait a minute - I now learn from Dhimmi Watch that the divorce rate in Saudi Arabia is at least 30 per cent and perhaps as much as 60 per cent. That's the thing about Islam - it isn't even good at what it's supposed to be good at.
What Muslims think of us shouldn't matter. They should worry about what we think of them.
