No Sisterhood in Islam

Hugh Fitzgerald The adjective "dreamy"�has been mine since 1977, when I began paying royalties for its use to the Estate of Vladimir Nabokov. It was he, of course, who in the phrase "dreamy misinformation"�used the adjective in such an unforgettable way, thus compelling me to do the same. As I am still paying royaltiies, I now expect you to pay me, and the sum will be passed on, intact, to the Estate. 1 Mar 2009

Ridley is a demented bint of the first water. I wonder what her reaction to the film would be - on second thoughts, no I don't. She would justify anything and everything done by mussslim barbarians. Shouldn't she have been stoned by now, for living trussed up in atent with men she was not related to? And her sidekick - the delapidated old rué Galloway - should surely have also been stoned for his well-publicised adulteries and promiscuity in e.g. Greece? (Not that I'm against that sort of thing for non-hypocrites.) What's with Galloway's weird Scotch-Iraqi accent and flowery arabesque language these days? Notice how he's never returned to the land of his indefatigable patron to address the people and tell them how he is still in mourning for their deceased Leader..? 3 Mar 2009
