Totonto: Muslim program probed on anti-Jewish teaching
 From the Toronto Star York Region police are investigating a complaint about anti-Jewish teachings at a Muslim Sunday school that rents space in a Toronto public high school. Jewish groups expressed shock at anti-Semitic teachings found on the website of the East End Madrassah — a religious program that runs every Sunday — that called ancient Jews “treacherous” and “crafty” and accused them of “conspiring to kill the Prophet Muhammad.” While the offending materials appeared to have been removed from the website Monday morning and the school website itself appeared to be have been taken down by Monday night, York police confirmed their hate crimes unit had launched an investigation. . . The material, among other things, lumps together Judaism and Nazism as beliefs restricted to a particular race. The East End Madrassah rents space for educational programming each Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in David and Mary Thomson Collegiate on Lawrence Ave. E. near Brimley Rd., but the program is run by the Islamic Shia Ithna-Asheri Jamaat of Thornhill, which is why York Region police are involved. The non-profit organization offers religious and moral teachings as well as heritage language programs in Gujarati, Urdu and Arabic. East End Madrassah Principal Masuma Jessa did not return calls from the Star, and staff at the Thornhill mosque refused to comment. In a statement Monday the Toronto District School Board said it does not tolerate any group that promotes hatred, and if a permit holder is found breaking the law in any way, such as promoting hatred, the board can revoke the permit. A Shiite outfit it is, eh? Then perhaps someone can point the York police, in Toronto, in the direction of Andrew Bostom's little article that appeared in American Thinker on 22 July 2008, entitled "Shiite Iran's Genocidal Jew-Hatred". And send a copy of the same article to each of the Jewish groups who have made the complaint, so they can have it up their sleeves, should they be prepared to take the logical next step: to demand that the madrassa be shut down, like, yesterday, and its staff identified as a danger to the public (let's all remember, 'first the Saturday people, then the Sunday people) and deported from Canada. And the next step after that is for Jews, and their friends, and every non-Muslim in Canada with a particle of commonsense, citing the evidence adduced in the same article, and much else besides that may easily be produced after a few trifling passes with google and a few hours with the Hadith, Sira and Quran, to ask Mr Harper and his government to cease importing Muslims of whatever stripe into Canada, on the grounds that each additional Muslim who steps onto Canadian soil, each incremental increase in the size and perceived and real power of the Ummah, perceptibly increases the likelihood that Canada will witness an Ilan Halimi, a Sebastian Selam, or a Toulouse-style assault upon a group of Jews, even on little Jewish children. Demand that Muslim immigration be stopped. And refuse to be silenced. Say it loud, and go on saying it. And every time they try to shut you up, repeat those names, louder and louder: Ilan Halimi, Sebastien Selam, Miriam Monsonego. Does Canada wish to see, on Canadian soil, a Mohammedan ghazi raider howling allahu-akbar as he grabs a Jewish child by the hair and shoots it in the head...or slits its throat and slices its head off with a butcher's knife? Well, just keep on importing Muslims into Canada by the bucketful, and sooner or later it - or something orders of magnitude worse...Mumbai 2008? Beslan? - will most assuredly happen. And the same applies to Australia, the USA, New Zealand, and every other country in the world that - previously free or almost entirely free of a Muslim presence until very recently - now hosts an aggressively-expanding Mohammedan colony, and an increasingly-threatened Jewish community. |
