11th September USAF Memorial Duxford

We visited the Imperial War Museum site at Duxford (former RAF base in Cambridgeshire) last week. The site contains the American Air Museum which is of itself the memorial to the 30,000 American airmen who died flying from British bases during WWII.

But other conflicts and other losses are commemorated. This is just inside the front entrance.
