A Highly Caustic Assessment of The Gaza Fiasco

By Armando Simón

Soon, it will be the anniversary of October 7th, when Muslim savages, using a unique form of attack, broke through and flew over the flimsy barricades at the Israeli border taking the handful of defenders by surprise and overwhelming them. Once inside, the Palestinians slaughtered inoffensive Israeli civilians who were simply enjoying a music festival and proceeded to a small settlement where they butchered the inhabitants. In the process, they tortured, raped and kidnapped several people, including infants. Note: there was no other aim other than killing people for the sake of killing. Rather than hide their atrocities, they actually recorded and broadcasted them, to the widespread jubilation of the Palestinians in Gaza.

This was followed by rocket attacks on other parts of Israel.

Shortly after Oct 7th happened, I confessed to have regarded the Palestinians with some sympathy up to that point. But after that I thoroughly despised them all.

And I still do.

And I have come to realize that a two-state solution would be suicidal for the country.

But that doesn’t blind me to what the Israelis are doing.

Israel retaliated against the rocket attacks, which ultimately ended. It also launched a military incursion into Gaza to destroy Hamas, but principally to rescue the hostages. After several stop-and-go military attacks and negotiations, some hostages were released, though others are (supposedly) still alive, held by Hamas.

Two years later, what goodwill Israel had received because of October 7 has evaporated. Vanished. Gone. This is exactly what happened with us. Right after 9/11, we had the world’s support. Then, George W. Bush—one of America’s stupidest presidents—flushed it away, using 9/11 as an excuse to invade Iraq on a personal vendetta, even though the two were totally unrelated.

While originally Natanyahu’s supposed aim to crush Hamas and rescue the hostages may have been his true goals, it has become evident to one and all that those goals have presently become secondary. The hostages are considered to be a loss and irrelevant. Written off.

As of about a year ago, the goal changed to make a good part of Gaza uninhabitable to the Palestinians. Day in, day out, every building is being bombed into rubble, not to mention anything else nearby. The infrastructure has collapsed in many areas, leading to famine. Civilians are injured, including children. All this is being thoroughly recorded and uploaded to the internet and are being propagated and viewed by millions in Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other sites (and yes, I do know there is a lot of misinformation put out, as well as the absence of information, such as the fact that Hamas will not allow food to be distributed unless they do it—and even charge money for it). But make no mistake of it, the numerous images do make good propaganda. And it is made worse by Jews claiming that nothing out of the ordinary is happening.

Undeniably, the result has been a public relations disaster for Israel and has served to join much of the world against Israel.

October 7th has been forgotten.

Predictably, thousands of European youths have taken up the Palestinian cause by disrupting cities with their moronic antics and chants. Several well-publicized flotillas of humanitarian aid have sailed out to Gaza. The U.K., Canadian, and Australian governments recently decided to recognize the (nonexistent) state of Palestine, after which Hamas rightfully declared recently that the recognition was a victory. In other words, the hostages will not be released by Hamas because Israel would not then have the excuse to continue the destruction, which would mean more videos of suffering people, which would mean more support for the Hamas cause. So think the fat Hamas leaders outside of Gaza.

Nor am I the only one who has come to this conclusion. The Washington Examiner ran an article with this as title: “Hamas suffered losses but gained global support for its cause.”

Hamas can practically taste Israel’s destruction.

And also predictably, many Jews have declared the anti-Israel feeling is all due to anti-Semitism, instead of realizing that the continued destruction in Gaza is a mistake.

America is being damaged

Compared to America, Israel is a speck on the map. And it is not just geographically, but economically, militarily and politically. It is an undeniable fact that Israel would cease to exist in less than a month if America were to one day stop backing Israel instead of giving it unlimited financial and military aid. Let me repeat that: America is Israel’s sole lifeline. Considering that Israel’s existence is totally dependent on America, it should be accommodating, if not subservient, to the US. Yet, it is not. America acts like it is the one that its existence depends on Israel.

America is indirectly being damaged by Israel’s continued demolition of Gaza. On top of that, some are asking why is it that Israel gets weapons for free while Ukraine has to pay for them. If the White House were to order Israel to pull all its forces back to the border—or else—and mean it, this would occur. ASAP. It would mean another feather in Trump’s hat for his reputation for peace. It would also dampen the anti-Israel and anti-Semitic movement in the West.

I don’t want to be misunderstood. Of the two Middle Eastern entities, I prefer Israel hands down because it, at least, has some democracy (though its system is absurd and should be restructured) and Israelis have a strong interest in art and science, whereas the Palestinians—and Arabs in general—I consider to be little better than savages. Especially considering their Satanic-inspired Muslim religion.
