Islamophobiacs: the Unwitting Abettors of Islamo-Supremacism

by Richard Butrick (May 2016)

Thomas Sowell, one of the most astute and incisive socio-economic analysts of our time, calls them “stop think” words.

If you don’t stop and think, it doesn’t matter whether you are a genius or a moron. Words that stop people from thinking reduce even smart people to the same level as morons.

Sowell takes “diversity” as a master stop-think word.

If there is ever a contest for words that substitute for thought, “diversity” should be recognized as the undisputed world champion.

You don’t need a speck of evidence, or a single step of logic, when you rhapsodize about the supposed benefits of diversity. The very idea of testing this wonderful, magical word against something as ugly as reality seems almost sordid.

But the word that is sinking the values of freedom of speech and, paradoxically, freedom of religion in the West? The word that doesn’t need a “speck of evidence”? That puts an end to critical analysis and trumps any contrary line of reasoning? The word that can be used to shut down examination of the looming reality that threatens basic human rights? The word which is such that,

The very idea of testing this wonderful, magical word against something as ugly as reality seems almost sordid.

Yes. That wonderful, magical word that elevates its accuser as morally superior to the accused and sends the accused to humiliating defeat by the mere act of accusation? That word is none other than, “Islamophobia.” To be accused of Islamophobia is to automatically be relegated to the dregs of humanity – a morally degenerate, psychological basket case of bias and hatred – end of discussion.

Enter Trevor Phillips

Some twenty years ago, as head of the UK Commission for Racial Equality, Trevor Philips launched the think-killer concept of Islamophobia as being the root cause of Muslim resentment and isolation that prevented the Islamic community from being part of the rich cultural diversity of UK society. Now Mr, Phillips admits that he got “almost everything wrong.”

As an article by Douglas Murray in The Spectator puts it:

But in some ways the Phillips piece is most important for what he himself admits. Among other things Phillips confesses that Britain has for years been telling itself a lie in relation to its Muslim populations – not least in pretending that they will blend in just like everyone else … He even recognizes that the authority for these views may in fact come from Muslim scriptures and traditions.

Time to call these “Islamophobia” chanting, reality-challenged useful idiots of Islamo-Supremacism what they are: Islamophobiacs – the real basket cases incapable of arguing and evidencing their religion of peace fixation and who chant “Islamophobia” as they bask in their moral superiority all the way to dhimmitude.

The “hijacking Islam” prop of Islamophobiacs

The fantasy Islam of peace, inclusion and justice for all had its formal launching at the highest level of State by none other than George W. Bush and has continued through to the Obama administration. Here is an excerpt from a bulletin of the Foreign Policy Initiative:

Hijacking and Perverting Islam

In addition to presenting a positive of view of both the Muslim faith and Muslims in America, both Bush and Obama sought to address the significance of the fact that terrorists continue to commit atrocities in the name of Islam. Borrowing imagery from the attacks of September 11, Bush frequently said that the terrorists were “hijacking Islam,” whereas Obama prefers to describe the terrorists’ ideology as a “perversion of Islam.” The difficulty of this approach is that it does not explain why, as Obama noted in Cairo, a “small but potent minority” of the world’s Muslims have embraced the terrorists’ ideology as an authentic expression of Islam.

In his September 20, 2001 address to Congress, President Bush described terrorists as “traitors to their own faith, trying, in effect, to hijack Islam itself.” The following year, Bush said, “We respect the [Islamic] faith. We honor its traditions. Our enemy does not. Our enemy doesn’t follow the great traditions of Islam. They’ve hijacked a great religion.” Bush employed similar language during his final year in office, telling an audience in Abu Dhabi, “Today your aspirations are threatened by violent extremists who murder the innocent in pursuit of power. These extremists have hijacked the noble religion of Islam, and seek to impose their totalitarian ideology on millions.”

The poster girl of Islamophobiacs has got to be Hillary Clinton. With Huma Abedin as her Svengali, the mesmerized Clinton, despite the Paris and Brussels attacks, keeps chanting the favorite slogan of the Islamophobiacs.

Muslims are peaceful and tolerant and have nothing to do with terrorism.

The poster boy of Islamophobiacs is of course the President himself who seeks the council of The Muslim Brotherhood and refuses to label Hamas or Hezbollah or even ISIS as Islamic terrorist organization – but for different reasons:

The Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and Hezbollah are Islamic hence they cannot be terrorist. ISIS is a terrorist organization therefore they can’t be Islamic.

The real problem, according to Islamophobiacs, is backlash from Islamophobes promoting anti-Muslim hysteria after Paris and Brussels – attacks which have nothing to do with Islam  – the religion of peace, inclusion and justice for all.

Like Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, they proudly tilt at windmills – slaying the imaginary dragon of Islamophobia and oblivious to the reality of Islamic terrorism and Christian persecution and the onslaught of Islamo-Supremacy – the inverse of tolerance.

But just where in this world is this religion of peace. inclusion and justice for all to be found?

Saudi Arabia?

Let’s see. A hundred lashes a year for ten years for the hint of insulting Islam? After a hundred lashes it takes a year to recover from having the flesh flayed off one’s back. Once healed you are dragged out to have your skin and scar tissue flayed off your body again. After a few years even the strongest are reduced to cowering, whimpering brain shattered zombies. Now that is inclusion.

Iran?

Here is the report from Amnesty International:

Amnesty International continues to document serious human rights violations in Iran including detention of human rights defenders and other prisoners of conscience, unfair trials, torture and mistreatment in detention, deaths in custody and the application of the death penalty. Iran executes more people than any country in the world, other than China. Ethnic, religious and linguistic minority communities face persistent persecution.

Similar reports are filed for Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Islamic states generally from North Africa and throughout the Middle East.

The answer is that the Sunni/Shia religion of peace, inclusion and justice for all is nowhere to be found on this planet. Hijacked Islam is the reality. The ultimate prop of the Islamophobiacs is a fantasy prop – a delusion.

The real danger to the West is not, as Islamophobiacs would have it, the Islamophobes fomenting anti-Muslim hysteria, but the Islamophobiacs themselves who, like Quixote and Panza, tilt at windmills while the dragon of Islamo-Supremacism feeds on their idiocy.
