Australian Islamic Scholar ‘Brother Ismail’ In Support Of Hamas: Jihad Is The Solution For Our Nation;

A firebrand Muslim cleric has told a Sydney audience that ‘jihad is the solution’ whether the ‘Australian government likes it or not’ and compared claims of Hamas terrorism to white colonialism in Australia.

In a sermon posted to YouTube by the Al Madina Dawah Centre in Bankstown in Sydney’s west, ‘Brother Ismail’ taunted the Australian government, saying he does not care if his actions lead to his deportation, and called Anthony Albanese a ‘hypocrite’.

“Jihad is the solution” and (he) ridiculed ASIO for “wanting to deport me. . . Go look at your past and open your eyes,” he said. “This is called Jihad that you have no idea about. If the Australian government or ASIO like it or not, if they want to deport me or not, the Jihad is the solution for the Ummah (the Islamic community)…,”

“Brother Ismail” also said that the Sunnis should be ashamed that Iran and the Shi’ites are fighting Israel with bombs and rockets. The full name of “Brother Ismail” was not provided. The sermon was posted both on the YouTube and Facebook accounts of the Al Madina Dawah Centre.

The community activist told the crowd said Palestinian ‘freedom fighters’ were unfairly being described as ‘terrorists’.

‘That hypocrite Albanese when he came and stepped and dirtied one of the mosques … saying we love Muslims and respect them. Not long after Allah exposed his lies when he said Israel has the right to defend itself, when he labelled Hamas as terrorists,’ Brother Ismail said.

‘We say to every individual who says Hamas is terrorists, did you really forget your dark history? Did you really forget your ancestors what they did to the native people in this country … how they raped their women to change their colour.

By Allah, [the Australians] don’t love us and they wish they can kill all of us. You, Muslims living in Australia and carrying [an] Australian citizenship, your blood means something else to them.

“Jihad is part of our religion and one of the highest pillars of our religion. Hamas are mujahideen, freedom fighters, and warriors, the Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades are the most honorable men, and more honorable than you, who are labeling [them] as terrorists. By Allah, the dirt that is dripping from their shoes is more honored than me.

“I say to my Palestinian brothers: Raise the flag of ‘there is no god but Allah.’ Fight for the sake of the flag of ‘there is god but Allah.’ The flag of ‘there is no god but Allah’ represents the Muslims and nothing else. The flag that they talk about, that belongs and is a symbol for ISIS and Al-Qaeda – this is the flag of the Muslims. Raise up the flag of ‘there is no god but Allah,’ so you die as a martyr.”

The NSW Police are investigating what the cleric said in the video.

‘NSW Police are aware of the comments and have commenced an investigation,’ a spokesman said. ‘As those inquiries are ongoing, we aren’t in a position to provide further information at this time.’
