Man arrested after storming RAF base was armed with teddy bear

We get a bit impatient with jihad murderers and attempted murderers whose crimes are swept under the carpet as 'mental health difficulties' which is an insult to those genuinely struggling with mental illness. But the man yesterday who tried to get into RAF Mildenhall does seem to be a true case of someone not completely rational, indeed delusional. From the Metro and the Daily Mail

The man who stormed an RAF base before being shot at and detained was armed with a teddy bear. A 44-year-old British man has been detained under the Mental Health Act after he was arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass at RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk.

A spokesman said: 'A 44-year-old British man arrested in connection with incident at RAF Mildenhall has been detained under section 136 of the Mental Health Act. The male was arrested yesterday on suspicion of criminal trespass and criminal damage. Police investigations into the incident continue.'

It is understood the man claimed to be someone 'important within the military establishment' when he was confronted at the base's main gates, although he did not specify a specific individual.

It is understood the suspect was not armed and no explosives were found in his vehicle.

An RAF source said: 'If you enter a military base forcibly you would expect an armed response. He was quite lucky to be in one piece.' Credit sounds to be due to the gate detachment who had weapons at the ready to warn but didn't shoot to kill.

Who might this "British man" be? It seems that when the media withholds the name and photo of someone who did something that could be an act of jihad, sure enough, it's a mohammedan.

More blatant incompetence! How did this guy get through the gate? Is there no barrier to entry until credentials are accepted? Suppose the vehicle had been loaded with explosives? Were their not a series of perimeters he had to pass through showing credentials? The teddy bear, was not a toy! It was a fierce Himalayan claw-bear, trained by Bruce Lee's organization to rip the stupidity out of the skulls of government security personnel.
