Dudley Mosque court battle: Wait on decision as judges consider verdict

From the Express and Star

A decision over the future of a controversial scheme to build a new mosque in Dudley has been deferred for judges to consider their verdict.

Court of Appeal judges heard two days of legal argument last week in relation to land in Hall Street earmarked for the mosque. Lords Justices Lewison and Treacy and Lady Justice Gloster have up to three months to make a decision on the case. But it is hoped that a written judgment will be handed down before the courts rise for the Christmas break.
