Electoral Commission registers 13 new political parties, including The Party of Islam

There are certain advantages to being a political party rather than an independent candidate or single issue pressure group, so I’m not reading too much into this. Another 12 parties were registered on the 13th October and 9 on the 2nd October.  They include the “More Police Officers for Thames Valley” party and a pair of “New World Order Resisting Independence Party”, one for Northern Ireland and the other for the rest of the UK.

The Party of Islam will have more credibility when they have learned to spell. But looking at the numbers on the streets today there is potential for an Islamic party so maybe I won’t scoff too loud.

Their application is stated to only apply to England but their aim is ”

1. We will make sure that all problems which lingure in the great country of Great Britain is defeated 

Their proposed emblem is left.
