French police arrest suspected terrorist plotting attack on nursery school

From the Jerusalem Post, RTL France and Algemeiner

French police have arrested a man who was plotting to perpetrate an attack on children at a nursery school, according to French media reports.

The man, who referred to himself as the “heir of Mohamed Merah,” the terrorist who killed four people in a shooting attack at the Ozar HaTorah Jewish school in Toulouse in 2012, was apprehended on March 25. He was caught in the Seine-et-Marne region, which is near Paris. . . was subsequently charged on March 29 and remains in custody.

The arrested man was already the subject of a French intelligence file, BFM TV reported. Investigators who inspected his computer and cell phone said that he had attempted to erase his browsing history, including extensive use of the dark web.

Media reports said that a second man was arrested, too, on charges of complicity.

I can’t find anything so far that names any specific school, or whether he/they had made a decision as to which school.
