Iran smuggling agents into UK as Channel migrants

Iran has been caught sending suspected covert operatives across the English Channel into the UK, The Telegraph can reveal.

Individuals with links to Tehran’s intelligence agencies are understood to have been intercepted by UK authorities while attempting to enter Britain on small boats.

People smugglers working on the Continent told The Telegraph that the Iranian regime facilitated the passage to Britain of migrants living at Calais in exchange for a “favour” for Iran after they settled in England.

Home Office officials have thwarted Iranian-linked individuals arriving in Britain from small boats by using drones and surveillance watchtowers fitted with artificial intelligence to monitor vessels crossing the English Channel.

Smuggling networks run by Iran are responsible for transporting people with links to the Iranian regime across Europe and into Britain, Tehran’s officials told The Telegraph.

Anybody with half a brain has noticed that the age, maleness, fittness and military bearing of so many of these ‘asylym seekers’ is that of an invading army.  And I suspect not just from Iran. And the shambling weakling looking ones are proving to be a criminal nuisance. 

They added that some human trafficking routes between the Middle East and the Channel were “owned” by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The Telegraph understands …the smuggling networks… are being operated by the IRGC’s Unit 700.

Unit 700 is the logistics branch of the Quds Force, the IRGC’s covert foreign operations division. The Quds Force has been linked to supplying weapons and funding to Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis, among other Islamist terror groups. More about Unit 700 here

An Iranian official said: “Of course, don’t forget that our armed forces have influence and run the [smuggling] routes in some cases if they want. At the moment we have people right there in London, revolutionary people who care about the world and the lives of children – they wait for us to tell them what to do. We have not done that yet, but we can easily make London unsafe for you if we want to . . . we do not need a missile to target London, it’s easier than that.”

It is understood that the number of threats arriving via small boats is dwarfed by the amount of IRGC-affiliated people entering Britain on legal flights from Europe.

Officials also told The Telegraph that the radicalisation and activation of Iranian diaspora in London and the use of proxies in Britain posed a bigger national security risk than small boats, which are often an expensive and unreliable route.

The officers come in by quasi-legal routes and the cannon fodder by small boat or recruited via Gaza activism. Shia and Sunni will work together when it’s a case of strike the infidel and thereafter Israel.
