Islamic preacher who called on God to ‘prepare us for the Jihad’ spoke at Trojan Horse school

From The Birmingham Mail

Sheikh Shady Al-Suleiman was invited to Park View Academy to talk to pupils, tribunal told. The Sheikh has been known to publicly call on God to “destroy the enemies of Islam” and to “prepare us for the Jihad”.

Andrew Colman, a barrister for the National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) … claims came as part of the NCTL’s case against five senior senior staff from the former Park View Educational Trust, which ran three Birmingham schools at the heart of the so-called Trojan Horse scandal – Park View, Nansen and Golden Hillock.
Lindsey Clark, Hardeep Saini, Arshad Hussain, Razwan Faraz, and Monzoor ‘Moz’ Hussain are all accused of professional misconduct for allegedly playing a part in an alleged plot by hardline Muslims to take control over governing bodies.

…He said another unnamed teacher on secondment from Park View held prayers in the playground at Golden Hillock in which he said “we have the true religion not like those ignorant Christians and ignorant Jews”.

…He said that in one such group discussion Mr Faraz allegedly greeted the appointment of female Muslim headteacher Shanaz Khan at nearby Small Heath School, saying: “Please don’t pressure her to start the Islamising agenda first.”

All the teachers deny any wrong-doing and the hearing continues.
