Israel Helps Palestinians Contain the Coronavirus — Or Is It Another Zionist Trick? (Part 1)

Hadi Al-Modarresi

The coronavirus outbreak has led to many explanations – aside from the real one — for its appearance. Muslims, in particular, have outdone themselves in their rich fantasies.

A Shiite Iraqi Islamic scholar, Hadi Al-Modarresi, who is based in Qom, Iran, said in a video that was uploaded to the Internet on February 28, 2020 that the spread of coronavirus is undoubtedly an act of Allah, meant to be divine punishment against the Chinese for their treatment, mockery, and disrespect towards Muslims and Islam. In early March, online sources reported that Al-Modarresi himself had contracted coronavirus. That must give him something to ponder.

Other Muslims have focused on the nefarious Americans or on an “American-Jewish plot” behind the coronavirus outbreak.

The political analyst Muhammad Sadeq Al-Hashemi said in a February 26, 2020 interview on Al-Ayam TV (Iraq) that in the 1981 thriller novel titled The Eyes of Darkness, the American author Dean Koontz had written about the coronavirus. Al-Hashemi argued that this proves that coronavirus is an American plot and he said that the goal of the plot is to reduce the world’s population. He said that in the past 10 years, two patents have been filed in the United States for the development of virus strains with the name “corona” and he compared this American “conspiracy” to when the Jews used blankets infected with anthrax to wipe out 86% of the native population in what is today the United States in order to have a real Jewish homeland. He said that the Zionist lobby similarly cleansed one third of the population of Scotland and that the Rothschild family has a monopoly of laboratories that develop biological and nuclear weapons. Al-Hashemi added that the Rothschilds had been the ones who decided to use nuclear weapons on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.

Of course it’s an American plot: the Americans behind it also wanted to wipe out their own population. To what end is unclear, but this plan was all spelled out – just ask that distinguished analyst Muhammad Sadeq Al-Hashemi — in a 1981 thriller by one Dean Koontz. And let’s not forget the Jews, who “used blankets infected with anthrax” to wipe out “86% of the native population in the United States in order to have a real Jewish homeland.” Al-Hashemi is confused. No Jews were involved with anthrax-filed blankets nor was anyone else. There was a single attempt to spread, not anthrax, but smallpox among the Indians they were fighting in the French and Indian War, by a handful of British officers serving under Lord Jeffrey Amherst. The attempt failed completely, as the Indians targeted had already long been exposed to smallpox, and those who had survived it were no longer vulnerable. Not 86% — but 0% — of native Americans died as a result of receiving the two smallpox-infused blankets. And the lunatic claim that Jews wiped out one-third of the population of Scotland, neither Jews nor anyone else “wiped out one-third” of the Scots. The Rothschild bankers did not have “a monopoly on laboratories developing biological and nuclear weapons.” In fact, they never possessed a single laboratory developing biological and nuclear weapons anywhere in the world. Al-Hashemi must have forgotten about the biological and nuclear weapons developed by, among other governments, those of China, Russia and Pakistan. Or does he believe that those governments are secretly all run by the Rothschilds? And “the Jews” who he claims were the ones who decided to use nuclear weapons on Japan — perhaps he needs to be reminded that virtually the entire military and political establishment of the United States supported the decision of President Truman to use the atomic bomb on both cities. And as it happens, none of those supporting that decision — Secretary of War Stimson, Secretary of State James Byrnes, General Marshall — were Jewish. One can only speculate as to what insane asylum let Muhammad Sadeq Al-Hashemi out long enough so he could perform his impersonation of a “political analyst.” I counted ten examples of sheer craziness in his farrago of nonsense of lies; perhaps you can find some I’ve missed.

Still other conspiracy theories about the coronavirus have appeared in the Muslim world.

In the early days of the outbreak, a columnist for the popular Saudi newspaper al-Watan suggested on February 2 that the new coronavirus was part of an effort by Western pharmaceutical companies to profit by selling vaccines for it, while another columnist for the Syrian official al-Thawra daily wrote on February 3 that the virus was part of an economic and psychological war on China waged by the US.

If Western pharmaceutical companies hoped to profit by selling vaccines, they certainly made a mess of it because, as the Saudi columnist did not realize, they do not have such a vaccine. It’s anyone’s guess as to which country will finally come up with one – it could even be China itself. And while many Muslims have interpreted the appearance of the corona virus as Allah’s punishment of China for mistreating Muslims, a Syrian official claims that it was really the U.S., engaged in an economic and psychological war with China, that was behind the spread of the virus in China. If the U.S. had been engaged in an economic war with China, it was certainly going about it the wrong way. The shutting down in China of many plants, the crippling of supply lines because of quarantines, factory closings, travel restrictions , have had severe repercussions on American factories, ranging from Apple in California to car assembly operations in Louisiana, that depend for many of their parts on Chinese manufacturers. China has been hurt, but so has the U.S.. The American stock market has cratered, mainly because of the “economic and psychological” effects of the coronavirus on the United States.

It’s not just the Muslims who have come up with bizarre theories to explain the coronavirus. On February 5 a Russian news anchor suggested that President Trump was to blame, linking the word “corona,” which means “crown” in Russian, to the beauty pageants Trump used to preside over and “crown” the winners. Which must mean that Trump himself was personally behind the appearance and spread of the coronavirus.  ]That way madness lies.

Inevitably, the CIA has been mentioned as the creator of the coronavirus as a bio-weapon, though why it should have limited its target to China, instead of also aiming at other geopolitical enemies, such as Russia and North Korea, is not explained. And surely the CIA realized there was no way the virus would remain in China; the United States, and many of our friends and allies, would be suffering from the coronavirus soon enough; it could not be contained within China. While a Saudi –see above – claimed it was the big American pharmaceutical companies that were behind the virus, because they hoped to make money selling their (non-existent) vaccine, others have claimed it was not those companies, but the U.S. and U.K. governments that engineered the virus in order to make a fortune from selling a vaccine. But, yet again, neither government has such a vaccine.

There is, however, one conspiracy theory that is true. I know this, because it’s my very own.

Here is the story put out by the Israelis, telling the world how they are helping the Palestinians to contain the coronavirus:

The Israeli Ministry of Defense’s Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) unit, which deals with civilian activities in the West Bank, including coordination with the Palestinian Authority, has announced that it is working with the PA to contain the coronavirus outbreak in Palestinian controlled areas.

It is very much in Israel’s interest to seem to care about the health of the Palestinians. In reality, the coronavirus – we who know that all other conspiracy theories are the products of crackpots, but our conspiracy theory is eminently sensible – has been spread deliberately by Israeli doctors, specialists in such warfare, to the West Bank Palestinians, precisely in order that Israel could then appear to be helping the Palestinians to contain the virus that they themselves, the Israelis, had spread. There is reason to believe that the Greek tourists staying in the Angel Hotel in Bethlehem, who are known to have spread the virus to the Palestinian hotel staff, while earlier visiting Jerusalem had had an Israeli tour guide, who had been deliberately infected with the virus — he volunteered for the duty — so that, in turn, as a human vector, he could spread the disease to tourists, like these Greek Orthodox, who would then carry it with them to the West Bank, and spread the virus among the Palestinians. And that is exactly what happened.

That deliberate spread of the virus to the Palestinians has given Israel the opportunity it was looking for, in order to counter the negative image it has acquired over the last two years, when Israeli soldiers have shot at peaceful protesters – those claims about Molotov cocktails and grenades and incendiary kites are an Israeli fiction – during the two years of the Great March of Return.

The world’s media – which as many of us know is controlled by five. or possibly six, Jewish families – has been all too eager to spread the word about Israeli “help” to the Palestinians in controlling the coronavirus:

Hundreds of coronavirus testing kits have been transferred to the PA by Israel, and Israeli and Palestinian medical personnel are training together to deal with the virus and its repercussions, COGAT said in a statement.

Israeli Health Ministry guidelines on preventing and treating the virus have also been issued by COGAT in Arabic.

“Bacteria and viruses do not stop at the border, and the spread of the dangerous virus in Judea and Samaria [the West Bank] can also jeopardize the health of the residents of Israel,” said Civil Administration Health Coordinator Dalia Basa.

The coronavirus, which the Palestinians had so far managed to keep from spreading to the territories they live in throughout their ancient homeland, now occupied by Israel, finally spread to them as well, infected by a group of Greek Orthodox tourists in Bethlehem, who were completely unaware that they had contracted the illness from their Israeli tour guide in Jerusalem. The diabolical plan has worked.
