Certain actions need to be taken: (1) cancel all further donations; (2) investigate the official(s) responsible for past payments; (3) attempt tp recoup payments made in the past; (4) close down the organization that owns the mosque.
It is important to recognize there is a complete divorce and separation between State and Church, and that all religious organizations and their places of worship and their practices are of a strictly private nature.
The sight of private rooms set aside for Muslim men–and men only–among recent Syrian refugees in Canada to pray was a disturbing and offensive sight.
