Muslims Asked: What Should We Do With The Captured Jordanian Pilot?

One Response

  1. The notorious Islamic blood lust is well evidenced in these calls for gruesome torture and death. Where in the obscenity of this delight in suffering, the gleeful anticipation of inflicted cruelty, can we see the influence of “Allah, the Most Merciful”? What mental barrier exists in the brains of these ghouls to enable the disconnect in their thinking? The duality of Islam, the teaching that Allah is merciful to the believer and harsh to the unbeliever, is at work here. The unfortunate Jordanian pilot, although almost certainly a fellow Muslim, is the wrong kind of Muslim – so therefore subject to the “harshness” due an unbeliever. Are there any prayers in the mosques of the Middle East for his safety – that he be kept safe from harm at the hands of his co-religionists? Somehow, except for in the mosques of his father and relatives, I doubt it.
