New English Review’s First Salon is Rousing Success

Michael Rectenwald arrived in Nashville on Thursday night. Friday morning, he met in studio with Michael Leahy of the Tennessee Star Report on WLAC, Nashville’s largest talk radio station, the signed books that afternoon at the famous Elder’s Bookstore, Tennessee’s oldest bookstore, specializing in collectibles. A fantastic place to browse.

Rebecca Bynum, Michael Rectenwald, Jeffrey Burghauser and Albert Norton

Then Saturday, our distinguished authors, Jeffrey Burghauser and Albert Norton joined a few more invited guests for an afternoon and food, drinks and conversation. As the sun went down, Mr. Burghauser brought out his banjo and amazed us with some old-style finger picking. Who knew Vivaldi could be played on the banjo?

Anyway, it was a wonderful afternoon and I want to thank everyone who came and made it such a special day.
