Ouch! Why Can’t We All Love Each Other?

     The appeal from the United Nations to Israel and Iran to show “maximum restraint” reminded me of the railroad traveler who saw a spider in his sleeping compartment and who wrote a steaming letter of complaint. The CEO himself wrote back. “I want to apologise to you personally for this disgraceful fall from our usual standards. Our entire system of housekeeping is being examined and staff has been put on notice that any slackness will result in immediate termination.”

     Stuck to the letter was a note from the CEO to his secretary that had been attached by mistake. It read, “Send this creep the bug letter.”
