I wasn’t there but friends who were tell me that it went well with some very good speeches. The Muslim community leaders failed to persuade the police to ban the walk.
Pegida outnumbered the counter-protesters who were a mix of the usual left-wing groups and the Muslim community.

Everybody got home safely. There were no arrests. We await a date for Tommy’s debate with Muhbeen Hussain with bated breath.
