Schools in Los Angeles are all closed today due to a ‘credible terror threat’

We’ll keep an eye on this story. On second thought – they’re probably jumpy and it could be a student wanting to get out of that algebra test today.

Every school in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) was closed Tuesday due to a “credible terror threat,” KTLA 5 reported, citing school officials and police.

There will be a news conference on Tuesday to provide more details about the threat.

Students were all sent home on Tuesday morning, according to NBC Los Angeles, which noted that LAUSD is the second-largest school district in the US.

Several school bus drivers told ABC 7 that dispatchers had called them back to their respective depots in the morning.

  1. So, they’re going to catch the bad guys today? If they don’t, what will stop the bad guys from attacking tomorrow when the schools reopen?
