Four men have been jailed for nearly 18 years for sexually exploiting vulnerable teenage girls. The five girls, who were aged just 13 and 14-years-old at the time of the offences, were abused between December 2016 and March 2017, in Burton-Upon-Trent.

Today, Taiyab Hussain, 19, Mohammed Hizwar Rizwan, 18, Shaheem Ratyal, 19, and Sohail Raja Ali, 19, – all from Burton-Upon-Trent- were sentenced to a total of 17 years and eight months after admitting 22 offences in February.

Hussain, of Shobnall Street, was jailed for five years after pleading guilty to two counts of sexual activity with a child, two counts of causing a child to engage in sexual activity and two counts of possession of an indecent photograph of a child.

Rizwan, of Derby Road, pleaded guilty to four counts of sexual activity with a child, one count of causing a child to engage in sexual activity and one count of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and was sentenced to four years and four months in prison.

Ratyal, of Grange Street, was sentenced to four years and found months after pleading guilty to one count of sexual activity with a child and five counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

Ali, of Weston Park Avenue, pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual activity with a child and one count of causing a child to engage in sexual activity. He was handed a four year sentence.

A judge took the unusual step of banning them from using the Snapchat messaging app for eight years. Passing sentence at Stafford Crown Court, Judge Jonathan Gosling said of the men ‘These were young men treating the young girls like trophies, and to some extent, one was spurring on another.’

The judge said the four victims, one who had only just turned 13, meant nothing to the men and had been subjected to ‘extreme’ offences.

Taiyab Hussain, Shaheem Ratyal and Sohail Ali, all aged 19, and 18-year-old Mohammed Rizwan, were arrested when a teenager realised she had been groomed after watching a sex education video.

  1. And when will all those who in this sex-slavery matter, knowingly violated their British police oath be brought to justice?

  2. Not ‘Staffordshire men’.
MUSLIM men, who – unfortunately for the infidel inhabitants of Staffordshire – happen to reside in Staffordshire.
