A 23 year old man from the Tulkarem in the Palestinian Authority territory, Hamza Mohammed Hassan Matruk, boarded Dan  Bus 40 in Tel Aviv this morning stabbed the bus driver virtually sealing the doors. He proceeded to stab 12, including passengers and street passersby’s, three seriously with injuries to the head and neck. A passenger opened the door, whereupon the assailant Matruk fled continuing his bloody assault on the street. Members of Israel’s Elite Nachshon Prison Service riding in a car directly behind the bus gave chase shot Matruk, wounding him and apprehended the assailant. PM Netanyahu is a statement cited the Nachshon team for their actions but also attributed the terrorist attack to incitement by the Palestinian Authority.  Hamas immediately acclaimed Matruk for his ‘heroic” act of resistance.  Meanwhile, Hamas is forming an Army of Liberation in Gaza enlisting teenagers for more attacks against Israel emboldened by EU General Court decision lifting the “terrorist designation”.  The US Consulate may also be complicit in supporting this  “liberation Army” and  on the west Bank These  developments are  the subject of  coincidental  articles published today  by the Gatestone Institute  articles authored by  Khaled Abu Tomeh and Shoshana Bryen of the Jewish Policy Center.

Arutz Sheva, Israel National News reported the grisly details in an article, ‘I Feel Blood All Over My Body‘:

A chilling recording of a phone call to the Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency line placed at 7:28 a.m., during the stabbing attack on a Tel Aviv bus Wednesday morning, has surfaced, revealing the panic and tension at the scene of the stabbing where at least 12 were wounded.

In the call, a woman can be heard saying “there was a terror attack on a bus. A man with a knife. A terror attack on a bus in Tel Aviv. At the Ma’ariv bridge.”

After the dispatcher asks how many people were wounded, the woman says “I don’t know how many. I feel blood all over my body.”

The Arab terrorist, who committed the attack, wounding at least three people critically and four moderately, has been named.

The terrorist is Hamza Mohammed Hassan Matruk, a 23-year-old resident of the Samaria town of Tulkarem, located under the jurisdiction of the Palestinian Authority (PA). He was in Tel Aviv illegally.

Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, blamed the PA‘s incessant incitement to terrorism as causing the attack.

Netanyahu noted the Tel Aviv terror action in the wake of the Paris and Belgium atrocities and  PA unity government moves to sue Israel in the ICC:

“The attack is a direct result of the toxic incitement spread by the Palestinian Authority (PA) against Jews and their state,” charged Netanyahu, joining other MKs who earlier placed the blame squarely on PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas’s shoulders.

“The same terror tries to harm us in Paris, in Brussels and every other place,” said Netanyahu. “Those rushing to welcome this act are Hamas, the unity government partner of Abu Mazen (Abbas). This is the same Hamas that said it will sue Israel in the International Criminal Court (ICC) in the Hague.”

The Arutz Sheva report noted the quick action by the Israeli Prison Service Nachshon personnel:

Matruk, after exiting the bus and stabbing several more victims on the street, fled to an adjacent street where he was shot in the leg and arrested by the Israel Prisons Service’s elite Nachshon unit, members of which happened to be driving behind the bus when the attack took place.

Two Gatestone Institute articles coincidentally drew attention to the formation of a so-called liberation Army by Hamas and US  support for a State of Palestine army  that pre-figured today’s terrorist attack in Tel Aviv.

Khaled Abu Toameh in Hamas Forms “Liberation Army” in Gaza, Thanks to EU Support noted how an EU court decision lifting the foreign terrorist designation of Hamas abetted this new terrorist formation:

The Palestinian Islamist movement in the Gaza Strip, Hamas, has intensified its efforts to achieve the destruction of Israel.

Hamas has obviously interpreted these two decisions — by the EU court (to remove Hamas from the list of terror organizations) and the International Criminal Court — as a green light to proceed with its plans to eliminate Israel.

The main goal of Hamas’s “Liberation Army” is, of course, to prepare for war against Israel, according to Hamas spokesman, Mushir al-Masri. “The main purpose of these training camps is to prepare an army for the liberation of Palestine and its holy sites in the near future.”

The EU court that removed Hamas from its list of terror groups has committed a crime not only against Israel, but also against the Palestinian teenagers who are being trained as jihadists in the movement’s camps throughout the Gaza Strip.

The happy feeling among Hamas leaders is that the Europeans and the ICC are helping them achieve their goal of wiping Israel off the face of the earth.

Shoshana Bryen in her article noted the complicit role of the US Jerusalem consulate in formation of an allied force in the PA, The West Bank Army of the “State of Palestine,” Thanks to the United States.  She wrote:

The U.S. Consulate’s determination to provide the trappings of Palestinian statehood to the Palestinian Authority outside the negotiating process should come under scrutiny.

What plan do we have if the Palestinian army attacks the IDF in the future — instead of its presumed enemy, Hamas?

It is revealing that the U.S. appears determined to provide the Palestinian Authority with an army while it is still at war with our ally, Israel.
