Read , the “Oil Kings”, and get a good idea of their tendency to rule with an iron fist and a tendency to throw their alliance with whoever is the most politically expedient.

A recent TV interview with the son of the last Shah , also Reza Pahlavi, with Maria Bartiromo had me almost gagging with the deference she was paying to him.

It was all “your Royal Highness” and “Crown Prince Pahlavi”.

He’s not a ” “Royal Highness” and he’s not a “Crown Prince” those titles are history

Ass kissing of the worst kind and just the kind of flattery that the old man thrived on. Beware of the  premature granting of Emperorship to someone who hasn’t even been tested.

It’s very dangerous to try and hand the keys to a family that has a very rocky history. Don’t forget they they were a significant part of the cartel that upended the world of oil price stability
