The first one sees the origins of his favoring Iran (does he? only, it seems, when it comes to Israel. In Yemen, and in Syria, he supports those opposed to the the Shi’ite (Hezbollah, Iranian) or Shi’ite-connected (Alawite) side) in his father’s supposedly being Shi’a; the second one thinks Obama wants to use Shi’a — Iranian — expansionism to destroy Islam from within.
As is so often the case with Memri clips, it is not the truth but the kinds of craziness the speakers display – their theories, conspiracy and other, their suspicions, their belief that they have found, little casaubons all, the Key To All The Mysteries.

I don’t see inconsistency, but consistency, between obama’s positions favoring iran w/r/t the bomb, on the one hand, and the Syrian opposition that iran is fighting against, on the other. Both positions can be explained if one believes obama is motivated by an anti-U.S., anti-Christian and antisemitic animus.
