Woman shot in police raid, her mother and another woman face terror charge

A woman who was shot during a police raid in north London is among three who have been charged with preparing a terrorist act and conspiracy to murder. Rizlaine Boular, 21, of central London; Khawla Barghouthi, 20, of northwest London and Mina Dich, 43, of southwest London, were arrested last month and charged on Wednesday, Scotland Yard said.

Boular was shot by armed police during a raid at a property in Harlesden Road, north London, on 27 April and was arrested after she was discharged from hospital three days later. Barghouthi was detained in Harlesden Road on 27 April and Boular’s mother, Dich, was arrested on the same day in Kent.

They are due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday morning.

All three are accused of conspiring together “to murder a person or persons unknown” between 11 April and 28 April 2017, police said. Boular is also charged with “the intention of committing acts of terrorism engaged in conduct in preparation for giving effect that intention” over the same period.

I heard somewhere that the women were Somali, but those names sound Moroccan to me.
