Please Read Prior to Submitting Work:–
This is a merit-based publication. Do NOT submit your preferred pronouns or racial identity. By submitting work to this publication, contributors confirm that they have reviewed the magazine and are comfortable appearing alongside its editorial and political orientation. New English Review maintains a clearly articulated editorial perspective (including a pro-Israel and conservative orientation), which informs the broader context in which all published work appears. While articles, fiction, and poetry are NOT required to address these political themes, contributors should be aware that publishing here implies comfort with the magazine’s stated values and audience.

Regarding Poetry: We welcome poetry that engages the intellectual, historical, religious, literary, and cultural concerns central to New English Review. While we occasionally publish lyric and personal work, we are particularly interested in poems that illuminate broader human, civilizational, or philosophical themes.

Monthly Magazine
Submissions are accepted from the 1st of the month through the 20th. Submissions to New English Review (the monthly magazine) should be sent to [email protected]. There is no word limit, but please keep in mind that your work will be read online. Submissions for the coming month are due by the 20th of the previous month. (Example, submissions for July must be in by the 20th of June.) Timely or news-relevant pieces will be accepted at any time.

Blog
Submissions for our blog, The Iconoclast, should be sent to esmerelda@newenglishreview.org. There are no deadlines and submissions will be posted (or rejected) as they come in.

Books
Submissions for New English Review books should likewise be sent to [email protected]. Please send two or three chapters plus a brief outline of the overall concept, the expected length, and when it will be completed.
