The famous Christmas lights of Mousehole are cancelled lest they attract a crowd that might breach Covid social distancing regualtions. Meanwhile in Looe on the south coast of Cornwall the town council have taken the opposite view; the lights are on to raise morale and bring cheer.
Over 30 years ago we had our honeymoon in Looe. It is a larger town, very attractive but not quite so picturesque as Mousehole and with more room to spread out. A local man made a video of his town (here) and very nice it looks, in my opinion.
