The police have slapped a Section 42 Dispersal Order on the Canary Wharf Britannia Hotel protest tonight. The officer who was filmed announcing it is not the most articulate person and he seems to have his sections and their particulars muddled.
A Section 42 Dispersal Order is under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 and is for 48 hours only. He is talking about a 2001 Act and that it will be in force for 28 days. The Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001 at s42 is about harassment of a person in his/her home. Whatever, ladies in pink and their children were seen walking away in other x posts.
Apparently the ‘residents’ of the Britannia Hotel are in fear and distress. Having been reared by East End matriarchs, and being in danger of turning into one myself, dancing the hokey-cokey is indeed terrifying.

Yes but for BOTH of those acts
1. Children cannot be arrested or prosecuted due to age privilege.
And 2. PETITIONERS CANNOT BE ARRESTED. YOU NEED TO IDENTIFY AS A PETITIONER WITH ONE OF THE PARLIAMENT CAUSES. WHICH NULLIFY THE EFFECT OF THE POLICE ORDER ON YOU.
The very first met police act ever stated privileges apply as if the act was never made
Subsequently the first ever public order act 1936 also has “exemption” for special protection.
And all further acts the same
So many people dont understand this.
