If you’ve ever wondered what sort of an institution the Remainers are defending when they try to derail Brexit then read on.

“AS THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT CONTINUES TO DO ITS BEST TO STIFLE FREEDOM OF SPEECH, INCLUDING ORDERING THE CENSORSHIP OF POLITICALITE AND OTHER NEWS SOURCES THAT EXPOSE THEIR HYPOCRISY AND CORRUPTION, THE EU HAS NOW DECIDED TO OPENLY WADE-IN, IN TRUE FASCIST FORM.

“IN A move once carried out by Hitler’s Nazi Party to silence opposition, this week the European Court of Justice ruled that the European Union can lawfully suppress political criticism of its institutions and of leading figures, sweeping aside ancient English Common Law and over 50 years of European precedents on civil liberties.

“Placing freedom of speech under attack, and without any permission given by the decent men and women of Europe, The EU’s top court found that the European Commission was entitled to sack Bernard Connolly, a British economist dismissed in 1995 for writing a critique of European monetary integration entitled The Rotten Heart of Europe.

“In his book, Connolly, a British Economist and critic of the Eu and its failed monetary system, exposed how the undemocratic leaders of the EU seek to erode nation states and make a tidy profit in the process.

“The ruling stated that the commission could restrict dissent in order to “protect the rights of others” and punish individuals who “damaged the institution’s image and reputation”. The ruling, however, has far wider implications for free speech that could extend to EU citizens who do not work for the Brussels bureaucracy.

“The court called the Connolly book “aggressive, derogatory and insulting”, taking particular umbrage at the author’s suggestion that Economic and Monetary Union was a threat to democracy, freedom and “ultimately peace”. Mr Connolly, who has been told to pay the European Commission’s legal costs, said the proceedings did not amount to a fair hearing. He said: “We’re back to the Star Chamber and Acts of Attainder: the rights of defendants are not respected or guaranteed in any way; the offence of seditious libel has been resurrected.”

“Mr Colomer wrote in his opinion last November that a landmark British case on free speech had “no foundation or relevance” in European law, suggesting that the European Court was unwilling to give much consideration to British legal tradition.

“Mr Connolly now intends to take his case to Europe’s other court, the non-EU European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. ‘Alternative’ news and open criticism has taken a bashing of late; with Facebook and Twitter taking strong stances against anyone deemed to be making extreme comments online. This approach however, has faced strong objection by many who see it as unjustified ‘through-the-back-door” censorship of Conservative and Right-wing thought, with various political figures finding their accounts suspended for criticizing terrorism or the EU, whilst accounts linked to Jihadists and hateful organisations such as Hamas being allowed free reign.

“With this latest ruling (that follows an attack on Meme copyright) just providing more evidence of the EU’s fierce campaign to silence the truth, override democracy, and control the masses, we wonder; Just how far are the left-wing fascist rulers of Europe prepared to go to cling onto power?”

That sort of behaviour, by all the institutions of the fascist European Union I must tell you, is why I am a Brexiteer. It’s also why I utterly and completely despise those who advocate that we should remain in the Union. In my opinion they are ignorant; or wilfully ignorant; or completely unhinged and in need of treatment. I can find no other explanations for their deranged determination to destroy freedom and democracy by keeping the U.K. tied to a corrupt oligarchy and its rotten, unprincipled and subservient institutions.
