Colours of autumn

Why should readers of NER escape my holiday snaps?  A lovely tree by the Japanese garden of Valley Gardens in Harrogate, Yorkshire.

Valley Gardens was designed and planted as a healthy walk to, from and around Bogs Field, a damp area where the mineral waters were pumped from numerous springs (all slightly different). By the 18th century Harrogate was a spa resort to rival Bath. It’s still a very pleasant place to visit.  I recommend the famous Betty’s Tea Rooms.
