Dedza chief suspends pork in market, bows to Malawi Muslim demands: Sells only halal meat

From the Nyasa Times. This isn’t just a demand in Islington and other London schools – this is a worldwide demand.

A traditional leader in Malawi’s central district of Dedza, Sultan Tambala has ordered traders who sell pork at main market there, to stop selling pork until he look into the complaints by Muslims that those who are selling meat from pigs are violating the rights of Muslims.

Muslims in the area complained to the chief that selling pork at the market is an insult to their religion.

However, chairperson for the market wondered why the Muslims raised the issue this time around “since pork sellers have long been operating outside the main market without problems.”

Months ago Muslims in Malawi’s northern district of Mzimba threatened to use force should the M’mbelwa District Council authorities fail to meet their demand to establish separate selling points for pork from other meat in the district’s markets.

Last year Village Headman Busiri of Traditional Authority Chowe in Malawi’s southern district of Mangochi issued a seven-day ultimatum to pig farmers to leave his area.

  1. Always, always, always, no matter where Muslims live within any non-Muslim country, one sees the ceaseless demands, the aggression, the threats, the demand for “speshul treatment, speshul Respect, becuz we Muslims is so speshul.”

And for those who may not know: Muslims constitute 16 percent of the total population of Malawi, whereas 76 percent of the population identify as Christian (mostly Catholic) and 6.5 percent follow traditional African beliefs, while there is a sprinkling of non-religious, and Hindus, and even a few Bahai’i.

That is: at a bare 16 percent of the population the Muslims are throwing their weight around, presuming to dictate to, and threaten, 84 percent of the population. (And people around me wonder why I am so dead set against any further Muslim immigration into Australia!).

Muslim da’wa – petrodollar-funded – has been going full blast in Malawi, with plenty of Islamic-strings-attached ‘aid’ (wells and schools and clinics that, unlike those provided by Christian NGOs, can *only* be accessed by those who convert to Islam). Muslims have almost entirely Islamified one particular tribe, the Yao, who are about 80 percent Muslim. (According to Operation World, however, the growth rate of Christianity, in Malawi, is only very slightly less than the growth rate of Islam; if the Christians upped their game only slightly – preferably by making inroads among the ‘cultural Muslims’ and turning them into Christians – they could match or outstrip the Muslims).

If Malawi non-Muslims wish their country to remain relatively stable and peaceful – which it has been, so far, compared to many of its neighbours – they need to get together and put the brakes on Islam, ASAP.
