This is quite interesting. The neighbours of the convicted terrorist are not following the usual “I don’t believe it – he was a good quiet religious man” narrative. From the Derby Telegraph
A Derby terrorist who was planning an attack on the UK has been described as a “strict Muslim” who fell out with his neighbour – over wearing shorts. When preparing his attack, Sudanese-born asylum seeker Mohammed was living next door to refugee Haji Ahmadi in the same house in the street. (Below Leopold Road Derby the night Mohammed was detained.) Like Mohammed, Mr Ahmadi is also a refugee, and travelled from Afghanistan to the UK looking for a better life.
He said he had a dispute with Mohammed not long after moving in to the flat in the summer of 2016. He said Munir “did not like him”. He said: “I am a Muslim but I am quite relaxed. I believe in mixing with people and integrating with society. He did not like me though. He said I had to be a strict Muslim. He did not like me wearing my shorts in the summer . . . I’m pleased to be in the UK. I enjoy living here. I enjoy the way of life. There is nothing wrong with shorts. I want to be part of this society. Whenever we did speak, he was always talking about religion. It was his big thing. He never stopped.”
Another resident, who did not want to be identified, said he thought Mohammed was a “normal and decent man …There was absolutely nothing about him which was different or odd. . . But obviously I was totally wrong. . . Quite clearly now he was planning a massive attack and I imagine wanted to kill loads of people. I cannot get my head around it. I could see his house from my bedroom. It’s really shocking. This guy was on my door step.”
However just in case we forget the main message
Hassan Akram, 23, who has lived on the street all of his life, said: “It’s absolutely terrible. This is the total opposite to what Islam is all about. It’s about peace – not the corrupt view he obviously had. We’re opposed to killing people and violence.”

“We’re opposed to killing people and violence”.
Yep, so long as one uses the special Islamspeak definitions of ‘people’ and ‘violence’.
‘People’ who ought not to be kileld are “fully-sharia-compliant same-sect fellow-Muslims”. Anyone else is not ‘people’ but lawful prey.
And ‘violence’ = any form of resistance or opposition – whether in word or in deed – that is offered when Muslims attempt to impose Muslim dominance and/ or impose and enforce the sharia.
